Shadows Fall
In twilight's hush, where shadows play,
A secret lies, in a deadly way.
A life extinguished, a tale untold,
A mystery woven, in a web of gold.
The whispers spread, the rumors creep,
A trail of clues, in a silent sleep.
The detective's mind, a maze to unwind,
A puzzle to solve, before the truth is left behind.
In darkness, motives hide and seek,
A complex dance, of truth and sneak.
The investigation, a winding road,
Leading to justice, or a fatal load.
The truth awaits, like a ghost in the night,
Will it be revealed, in the morning light?
Only time will tell, as the story unfolds,
In this tale of murder, where shadows hold.
